Unfortunately we have run out of funds to get more wood and I am not to sure how I can get any wood at this time. Sorry for the delay on sending this message out. I will be trying my best to look at getting the wood during the summer so it can be ready for next season. In the meantime, Dan Scott is selling wood which he got himself from Sooke. I am sure he will give a deal for the elders.

The deadline for the Elders Conference is May 10th. The fee this year is expensive - $75 each and after May 10th it goes up to $100 which we cannot afford. So please get your application forms in. If you don't have your forms they are at the front desk at the Band office. The conference this year is at the same place as last year.

We finally had our first Loonie Toonie on March 16th, I would like to thank all the Elders that donated - thank you! The next one is April 20th and remember all proceeds go to the elders conference.

Wow, just think Easter is just around the corner. We will be doing our annual Cementary clean up again on Holy Friday at 8:00 am in the morning. Please call me for more information.

We are still having our Breakfast on Fridays from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. I will be doing concession on Sunday for the canoe races so if you would like to donate something for the Canoes races please do so. Items such as pop, fries, hamburgers and hot dogs buns are helpful. Thank you.
