Tsawout First Nation

Tsawout First Nation employs one Community Health Nurse (CHN), who is available five days a week.  Our community health nurse has been with Tsawout for four years, and has specialized knowledge in endocrinology (diabetes specifically) and general medicine. Responsibilities of the Community Health Nurse include:

• Immunizations
• Diabetes & Foot Care
• Food & Nutrition
• Pre & Post Natal Care
• Well Baby Care
• Sexual Health
• First Aid Services
