Turtle Talk

E-mail Print PDF

Turtle Talk is a program that your child has been participating in on Tuesday’s afterschool since September 2012. The focus of Turtle Talk is to teach children safety skills and feeling identification.  In the next few weeks, we will be talking to them about the proper names for parts of their bodies, and how to identify appropriate (good) and inappropriate (bad) kinds of touching, and what to do if someone touches them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.  You may hear some of these new words and ideas at home.   If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any one of us.  You can also talk to us after the group on Tuesdays.
