TSAWOUT FIRST NATION EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
FILE CLERK  (PART-TIME, SHORT TERM)    DATE:    MARCH 17, 2016
TERM: 2 DAYS PER WEEK  (6 WEEKS) REPORTS TO: SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Social Development Manager, this position is responsible for filing, updating files and keeping accurate records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and file all forms and related documentation to ensure that all client files are complete and brought up-to-date.
Review files to ensure that information is filed accurately and in accordance with Social Development Policy.
Close-out previous year (2015-16) files and assist in creating new files for current year.
Refer client and community member’ questions and concerns related to social assistance and Social Development policy to the Social Development Manager.
Perform other related duties as required.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic file management skills are essential.
Previous office and file management experience are preferred.
Ability to stay on task, follow directions and be very organized are necessary
A good understanding of INAC policies would be an asset.
